Personally, I think the world is ironic.

Definitely quoting Alanis on this but it's such an amusing thing, really. Take this photo for example--would you believe me if I told you this was the best from the photographer's reel? I mean, of course, this is purely based on my opinion but I'm pretty much drawn to it. More so than that, this was actually a "candid" shot. This wasn't a product of a photographer's call to "Strike a Pose" but rather, one where I tapped my index finger on my puffed out bottom lip, wondering what pose to execute next.

The picture's not worth an editorial but I like the fact that it's honest and very real. When I go through some of my editorials, I think it looks slightly pretentious.
